Providence Health & Services Team Assistant in Medford, Oregon
Providence is calling a Team Assistant (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford,, OR.
In this position, you will:
Support Providence Medford Home Health & Hospice Triage, Intake, Utilization Review and scheduling. These can include but are not limited to: performing specified demographic & payer source data entry of referral/intake information into Home Care's software system(s), calling physician offices, hospital or other referral source to obtain additional patient demographic & payer source information in order to verify insurance eligibility and benefits for referral.
Communicate new referral information to physician, Home Health and Hospice vendors or other entities via fax/phone/computer as requested.
Prepare IDT & PCC agendas, staff/patient scheduling, reporting statistical data and other office support functions as needed.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent
1 year of recent experience in a customer service role participating with in a team in a medical office setting
Experience with Excel and Word
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
1 year of experience with insurance verification, medical claims processing or insurance member enrollments or medical office setting
1 year of recent experience with multiple computerized applications or business school level training and experience
Experience in a Home Services agency
