Providence RN - Medical, Surgical, Oncology ($12k Hiring Bonus and Relocation Assistance Available) in Medford, Oregon
Providence is calling Registered Nurses to join its Medical-Surgical, Oncology unit at Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR. This job posting represents full-time, night shift positions within the hospital. Hours are 7pm-7:30am (3, 12 hour shifts per week). You will also participate in the team's weekend rotation.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse who will provide professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an acute care environment. Accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence-based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan. Practices in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the ANA scope and standards of practice.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Employs Nursing professional practice
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patients’ care
Develop, update and coordinate the patient’s plan of care to achieve patient goals and to optimize outcomes and transitions across the care continuum
Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate
Perform and maintains currency of essential competencies as required by specific area of hire and populations serve.

Required qualifications for this position includes:
Nursing degree/diploma required upon hire
All Registered Nurses (RNs) without a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nursing must obtain a bachelor’s degree in nursing or higher within 3 years of hire.
A RN with 20 years of RN experience will not be required to obtain a Bachelor's degree in nursing
Unencumbered RN license in Oregon (OSBN)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card must be from the following:
American Heart Association (AHA) - (BLS Provider),
American Red Cross (ARC) - (BLS for Healthcare Provider), or
Military Training Network (MTN) – (Healthcare Provider) upon hire.
12 months of acute care experience working with the patient population similar to the Medical/Surgical, Oncology -OR- completion of the specialty residency located at Providence Medford Medical Center
Preferred qualifications for this position includes:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing
National Certification in Medical Surgical (CMSRN)
Three (3) years of Medical Surgical RN experience
