Nurse Fellowship Program Opportunity in Medford, OR!

Our Fellowship Program transitions nurses with 1 year or more years of nursing experience by emphasizing inter-professional, collaborative, and patient-centered care. Our comprehensive specialty curriculum includes online and classroom based learning, clinical simulation, skills development and unit orientation with specialty trained preceptors.

Program Timeline:

• Interviews will be conducted Monday, June. 10, 2019. (Must be selected)

• Start date will be Monday, August 12, 2019

• You must have your Oregon State RN License 2 weeks prior to the start date. If you are coming from out of state please check with your licensing board to make sure you will meet this deadline.

Position Commitments:

• Ability to work 32 to 40 hours per week. (1.0 or .9 depending on specialty)

• Available to work 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts

• Available to work any shift

• Able to participate in all program activities throughout the 12 month period

• HireVue (video pre-screening questions)

• Clinical Instructor references will be required.

In this position, you will:

Provide professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an acute care environment.

Work with a preceptor and assuming increasing responsibility during the residency.

Be accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence-based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan.

Practice in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the ANA scope and standards of practice.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Nursing degree/diploma required upon hire

  • All Registered Nurses (RNs) without a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nursing must obtain a bachelor’s degree in nursing or higher within 3 years of hire

  • Unencumbered RN license in state(s) of hire, and wherever care is delivered.

  • If RN holds a multistate license through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC), the RN must adhere to the requirements of licensure in the new state(s) of hire.

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card must be from the following authorized governing bodies: American Heart Association (AHA) - (BLS Provider), American Red Cross (ARC) - (BLS for Health Care Provider), or Military Training Network (MTN) – (Healthcare Provider) upon hire.

  • 12 months of nursing experience but new to specialty of hire

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
