Providence Health & Services RN Clinical Educator in Medford, Oregon
Providence is calling an RN Clinical Educator to Providence Medical Group South Royal Building in Medford, OR. This is a 30 hour per week exempt position (.75 FTE), which offers flexible scheduling.
In this position you will:
Develop, implement and sustain clinical education and training for the clinical workforce within the Providence Medical Group.
Be responsible of delivery of employee clinical education and training including competency development and assessment, learning assessments, instructor-led classes, written materials and e-learning modules in response to the needs of the organization.
Be responsible for identifying and establishing standards and best practices for all elements of the education and programs in which he/she is responsible for.
Required qualification for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing within minimum of 3 years’ experience or equivalent education/experience
3 years’ experience in education, health education or direct nursing care
Demonstrated experience in education, developing competencies, curriculum, training and evaluation
Experience with clinical education of employees in an outpatient/ambulatory care/medical group environment, including medical assistant, nursing and related clinical position
Preferred qualification for this position includes:
Master's Degree in Nursing Education, Education, or related discipline.
National Nursing Staff Development Organization (NNSDO), American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) or related certification
Current unencumbered license practice as a registered nurse in state of Oregon
Valid driver’s license
Experience in ambulatory care and/or medical group practice setting.
