Providence Manager, Neurology Clinic in Medford, Oregon

Providence is calling a Neurology Clinic Manager I to its Providence Plaza South in Medford, OR. This is a full-time, exempt position. In this role you will work with 4 adult and 2 pediatric providers. You will also be responsible for approximately 12 direct reports (administrative support, Certified Medical Assistants, and a RN Quality Supervisor). Neurology is among 9 specialty clinics on campus. We are seeking a Clinic Manager that will provide ongoing leadership for the development and implementation of management and patient care systems to assure cost-effective and quality operations of the clinic. Ensure strategic integration of care and clinical practices to provide an optimal patient experience. Lead staff to ensure that patient care services are provided in a timely manner which are sensitive to the patient's physical, psychological, and spiritual needs. Ensure compliance with established clinical policies and procedures. Participate in PMG-wide special projects, committees or task forces as requested.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the support staff in the clinic, including access, scheduling, patient flow, telephones, information systems, medical records and patient care

  • Have the overall responsibility for recruitment, retention, training, compensation, and performance management of all clinic support staff

  • Analyze monthly statistical reports on clinic production and revenues

  • Recommend and implement process improvement plans to address areas of deficiency

  • Develop and monitor multiple clinic operating budgets

  • Assure clinic operates within budget

  • Oversee accounts payable, purchasing, payroll, billing and collection functions for the clinic

  • Analyze monthly statistical reports on clinic production and revenues

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position includes:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business and/or Healthcare related; plus two (2) years experience -OR- Four (4) years equivalent work experience which includes management experience

  • Experience developing key relationships within an integrated delivery system such as hospital, health plan and support departments

Preferred qualifications for this position includes:

  • Clinic management experience

  • Neurology clinic management experience highly preferred
