Providence Health & Services Housekeeping Attendant in Medford, Oregon
Providence is calling a Housekeeping Attendant (0.0 FTE, Rotating/Variable) to Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR. This is a per diem/on-call position. You will be asked to be available for day, evening, and night shifts. All shifts are 8 hours. Shift hours are: days 7am-3:30pm, evenings 3:30pm-11:30pm, and nights 10:30p-6:30am. Schedules are finalized 1 month in advance.
The right candidate for this position will be available to work any of the 7 days per week, would be open to work all shifts (days, evenings, and nights), and will have at least 6 months of experience working in housekeeping within the hospitality or medical industries.
In this position you will be responsible on the following responsibilities:
Performs environmental services tasks in assigned areas of the Medical Center to provide a sanitary, orderly and attractive environment.
Performs duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects on the Providence Health and Services mission and philosophy.
Successful performance contributes to a holistic approach to delivery of services, improved patient care, and a high level of satisfaction from patients, families, staff and physicians
Required qualification for this position includes:
Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend basic English
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Ability to learn computer skills
Preferred qualification for this position includes:
High School diploma or GED preferred
6 months or more of hospitality or healthcare house keeping experience highly preferred
